From Hopelessness To Testimonies

Life is full of so many hopeless conditions. There are lots of people who are today in seemly hopeless situations. Hopelessness in getting married. hopelessness in getting a job. Hopelessness in completing a project. Hopelessness in a relationship. Hopelessness all around. There are some problems in life that looks as if you are passing through fire. Sometimes you are even afraid that you might not come out of them. Don't contemplate suicide. Don't throw in the towel. I've got good news for you. No matter the challenge you are facing, there is still hope! 

My wife shared a story of a lady in her village, who had a seemingly hopeless situation. As a child she took ill and her parents took her to a native doctor who gave her some herbs. Unfortunately, the herbs destroyed her organs. She was taken to the hospital. After examining her, the doctor discovered that her womb was badly affected and the only way to save her life was to remove her womb.

When she grew up, she wowed never to get married. A lot of suitors came to marry her but she declined. Some of them that seemed very serious, immediately they were told that she had no womb, will go and never come back. But there was this young man who came and proposed to her. The elder brother of the lady called him in and informed him that his sister, the lady he wanted to marry had no womb. 

The man left but came back another day, saying that God ask him to marry her. Her wedding was noised everywhere. Few months later after marriage, the lady started having some strange feeling and experience that made her think that she was sick. When she got to the hospital she was told that she was pregnant. She couldn't believe it, but as months went by, her stomach kept increasing. After 9 months, she had a set of twins both boys. This is what I call, “Double for your trouble” (Isaiah 61:7). May God give you double blessings for all the troubles you have ever gone through.

On the day of the children dedication, the whole village gathered to celebrate. God will do something in your life that will cause people to gather to celebrate with you in Jesus Name!
