  O ne day a local evangelist bragged during a crusade that his God was more able than all the other gods in the town and all the powers in the universe that the villagers worshiped put together. Just then, rainstorm sounds started sounding overhead, threatening the progress of the crusade. The evangelist lifted up his voice and declared with confidence that if the rains fell, then he wasn't a man of God; he would stop preaching! Voices are very powerful, voices are spoken words. They can either be audible or inaudible but the truth about voices are that they very powerful. Voices are so strong that they can weaken or strengthen you , they can make or mare you.  In fact, they can linger for a life time after they have been spoken, they are like bullets that have been shot and can never be retrieved. One thing about voices is that it affect you when you listen to it and meditate on it but if you don’t allow it sink into you, then you can be free from its power. God speaks through the Bible; through pastors and though other human beings.   God can speak through audible voices. He can also speak to you heart. The devil also can speak and men also speak. The picture you create in your mind can actually affect who you eventually become. If you see yourself as a failure in life, you might just turn out to be one. See yourself in the light of the word of God. The word of God says, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”. Romans 8:37-38 NIV.    The word of God says that you are a conqueror. It says that you are a winner, a victor, a success. So see yourself that way. The fact that you failed some time ago does not make you a failure. The fact that you lost something does not make you a looser. The Bible says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made”; Psalm 139:14 The mind is the battle ground. If you can win the war in your mind, you can win it in the physical.
