The Power Of Words

Children’s lives are largely made up of words - the words of their parents, loved ones and those they admire. A parent can fill his or her child’s heart with zeal for education and success in life, or destroy the spirit and future of the child with negative words. Children are word-made. A wife can lift up the spirit of her husband with positive words of encouragement or destroy him with negative words, and vice versa. A man who has lost his job can come back home to a wife who will hug him and encourage him with words like “Don’t worry, you will get a better job”. With those words, the man will be happy and encouraged to go out there and get a better job. But she can decide to scold him and nag at him saying, “I know you are a good for nothing husband”. A few devastating words could have filled his mind with confusion, his heart with pain, and his eyes with tears. She can destroy his spirit and even cause the man to commit suicide. Words give heartache, and words give strength

Take It By Force!

The LORD ministered to me that for me to get some things, it has to be by force. The Lord reminded me that “...FROM THE DAYS OF JOHN THE BAPTIST UNTIL NOW, THE KINGDOM OF GOD SUFFERS VIOLENCE AND THE VIOLENT TAKES IT BY FORCE” (MATTHEW 11:12). That is to say, I need to do warfare to take back that which the devil has stolen from me or hindered me from getting. The Lord told me that there are some things we cannot get by praying a casual prayer. There are certain breakthroughs that can never come until we become radical in our prayer life. There are some healing, deliverance, victories, etc that can never come to pass until we lift up a “spiritual war cry”. Mordecai had to wait before the table was turned around. He and his people were sold out for destruction. When Mordecai discovered what Haman had done, he went radical. “When Mordecai learned all that had happened, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city. He cried out with

You Can Pass The Test!

Image
A test is a medium of promotion. Before you are promoted in school, you will have to take a test. Before you are promoted in the civil service you must take a test. Different people have different problems. Different people go through different test. I don't know the kind of test you may be going through. But I have a mandate to declare to you that you can pass the test. No matter the nature of your test. You may be going through a test in your marriage, job, finance, health, family, faith, children, school, carrier, relationship, e.t.c. I don't really know which area of your life is going through a test. But the Bible says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. God is our architect. An architect designs buildings. There is no good builder who starts building by just digging the foundation of a house. No! He must first of all engage an architect, who draws the building. It is the architect who designs and dictates how much load the

For Your Sake...

As I was just wondering what to share with you this week, I stumbled into something in my diary which I thought I should share with you. It says, “For your sake, God will not rest. He will stir up everything in heaven and on earth to work in your favour. He is not giving you a silent treatment; He is only preparing you for what He has for you. He will give you rainbow for every storm; a blessing for every trial; a sweet song for every cry; a smile for every sigh, and an answer for every prayer. Just for your sake God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ever ask or imagine.. The word of God says in Isaiah 55:10, 11 “For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper
