Believe In Yourself
Believing in yourself is having faith in yourself. Having faith in yourself or believing in yourself is a very important factor. Unfortunately, a lot of people still suffer from low self esteem or inferiority complex. This happens not by choice but as a result of the environment they grew up, negative things people say to them or what happen in the past. Past failures can lead to low self esteem.
Believing in yourself is an antidote to low self esteem and inferiority complex.
Ways to increase your self esteem are
1. The best way to believe in yourself is to have faith in God. To have faith in God is to believe in God which means putting your trust in God but you can't do this until you are born again. When you put your trust in God, He helps you to overcome life challenges. Faith in God usually comes by hearing the word of God and one of the ways to hear from God is to read the Bible regularly (Romans 10:17).
2. Change your thinking pattern: The way you think shapes your life and self esteem. If you think positive of yourself, it increases your self esteem. But if you you think negatively of yourself, it will decrease yourself esteem. So think highly of yourself. You are special. you are unique. There is no two you in the whole wide world.
3. Prayer: Prayer is the force that moves the hand that move the world. The more you pray to God, the more you become confident of yourself.
4. Read Aloud Positive Words: Reading aloud positive Bible portions to yourself. For example, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"(Philippians 4:13). From time to time you need to speak positively to yourself. There are lots of positive words in the Bible that you can use to speak to yourself. Speak positive words to yourself loudly from time to time if you want to increase your self esteem.
I your self esteem is high, you can achieve the seemingly impossible.
