3. MUTUAL RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER: In every family where there is mutual respect for each other,
fighting and quarreling is reduced to the barest minimum. In any family where
there is mutual respect; abuse of all kind, tension and friction are
drastically reduced. When a wife respects her husband and a husband respects
his wife and the children also respect their parents and vice vassal, there is
usually mutual understanding and peace and happiness becomes a normal way of
life.
4. SPENDING TIME TOGETHER: Time is one of the world most valuable assets. With the quest for
money and fat bills to pay, married couples spend less time with their spouses
and children. They have replace quality time with each other with TV, DVD and
video games. Married couples travel extensively, work late into the night and
come back fagged out, only to eat and go to bed. Repeat the same circle for
weeks, months and years doing the same thing over and over again, while the
family suffers. A lot people to supplement time for money, cars, gifts,
electronics, etc. unfortunately, time has no substitute. We must find time to
be together, if we want to stay together. A family that stays together live in
harmony and a family that live in harmony enjoy peace and happiness.
If there is one thing a
child or spouse love and value most, it's the time they spend with their
parents and spouse. Most children and wives complain that their husbands and
fathers hardly have time for them and this makes them very unhappy.
I was watching wrestling
the other day, Ted DiBiasi, a WWE superstar slapped his father in the face. His
reason was because according to him; his father never had time for him
when he was growing up. You can imagine how he has felt all these years about
his dad.
I want to point out that
we can never find time for family unless we create time for them. I know that
we are in an age where every second is very precious. But nothing can be so
precious than our family. If we must have a happy home, we must create time to
be together with the family...
